“ Before you plan your business model make sure you have a pleasure model

Not sure (via iain tait) (via chetgulland)

Great business advice. Plus, you don’t have to disclose your pleasure model to potential investors.

Locally, the “douchebag neck” style can be seen in action on Melrose Ave., around the bar at the Saddle Ranch, or on the first floor of Staples Center during a Lakers game.

Douchebag Neck has taken over Hipster New  York by storm. I blame American Apparel.

It's Like Michelle But With an "N"

Thinking about how the media is reporting that Michelle Obama is angry or not “post racial” like her husband Barack, I got deja vu. It made me think about  when I worked as a corporate auditor, and how I tried so hard to fit in by being extra friendly and positive.  I am nice, but when I worked in accounting and consulting firms, I was super nice. I did favors for colleagues knowing I would get nothing back. I worked hard without complaining. Even when things were horrible and unfair, I never wanted to be the “angry black woman”.  People are scared of her. Michelle Obama is not an “angry black woman”. She’s confident enough to be real, and that’s a great example for her daughters and for Black Women everywhere.
