Thanks to Netflix Instant and raging insomnia, I saw “Jelly” an independent film penned by and starring Sarah Louise Wilson. It is not the best film I ever have seen, but it is probably the only film I have seen in years that speaks to me as an African American woman who still believes in happy ever after a la John Hughes.

The rise of niche VCs. There will be venture capitalists who will direct their attention to lifestyle-focused start-ups in food, fashion, home and travel.
